Privacy Policy
Lenses for iPhone · Last updated 17 October 2026
Lenses doesn't collect any information about you. What you enter stays on your iPhone. There's no account, no cloud sync, no analytics, no ads and no tracking.
What Lenses keeps, and where
Lenses keeps what you enter in a database on your iPhone: your lenses, lens case and solution, the days you wore daily lenses, how many lenses you have left, your history and your eye prescriptions. Lenses' Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets read the same database on the same iPhone. Your reminder settings stay on your iPhone too. None of it is sent to us or to any server.
What leaves your iPhone
- Lenses doesn't send any of your data anywhere.
- To show prices and to buy or restore the Full Version, your iPhone talks to the App Store for Lenses. That exchange is between you and Apple, under Apple's terms. Lenses only sees, on your iPhone, whether the Full Version is active. We never learn who you are.
- If your iPhone is backed up to iCloud or a computer, the backup includes Lenses' data, as it does for every app. Apple's backup terms apply.
Reminders
Your iPhone schedules and shows Lenses' reminders itself. There's no notification server.
Crash reports
If you turned on Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Share With App Developers, Apple may share anonymous crash reports and usage statistics with us. We use them only to fix problems. Apple's privacy policy covers them.
Other companies
Lenses contains no third-party code: no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Apple provides the App Store, purchases, backups and the crash reports above.
Children
Lenses doesn't collect information from anyone, including children. Where a US state law requires it, Lenses asks Apple for your age range when it opens. Apple answers on your iPhone; Lenses doesn't keep or send the answer, and nothing in the app changes with age.
Deleting your data
- In Lenses, open Settings and tap Erase all data. It deletes your lenses, lens case and solution, your history and your prescriptions, and removes its reminders, upcoming and already shown.
- Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your iPhone. Copies in older iPhone backups stay there until those backups are replaced or deleted.
- We don't hold any of your data, so there's nothing to ask us to delete.
If you write to us
When you e-mail us, we receive your e-mail address and your message. We use them only to answer you, which is our legitimate interest under the GDPR, and we delete them within 12 months, or sooner if you ask. Our e-mail runs on Google Workspace, so Google stores these messages for us. You can ask us to show, correct or delete them. You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), or the authority where you live.
This website
This website is plain pages: no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. It's hosted by Vercel, which may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If Lenses ever starts collecting any data, this page will say so before the app does.
